The Barwale Foundation, a non-profit, non-government philanthropic organization which works with a broader mission to promote research, technology and knowledge in the areas of agriculture, healthcare and education for human welfare is pleased to announce the Travel Grant Support for the Year 2007-08 for the M. Sc. / Ph.D. students and young scientists for their participation in the National/International Conferences to be held in India.
Travel Grant Support is a part of our Human Resource Development and Capacity Building Program and we encourage young scientists/researchers to participate in the national/international scientific events for their knowledge promotion.
Our travel grant support is allowed only for the domestic travel within India .

Travel grant will cover financial support to the maximum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) per person including expenses of registration fee, travel, boarding and lodging
|
|
Applicant should be less than 35 years of age. |
|
Applicant should be the senior author of the paper, preference will be whose paper is accepted for oral presentation |
|
Once the grant is approved, the Foundation will reimburse the actual cost on submission of original receipts after the conference |
|
One person can avail only one grant in a year |
|
Institutional support, regional meetings or travel for training/workshop is not covered under the grant |
|
Awarding travel grant is based on merits |

| How to apply |
| |
Interested students and scientists should submit their applications atleast one month in advance from the conference date with the following documents: |

Complete details of the conference (with a copy of the brochure of the event) |
|
Abstract of the paper accepted by the organizer |
|
Anticipated budget giving full details |
|
Recommendation letter from the supervisor |
|
Curriculum vitae of the applicant with current phone information |
